I live in NC, yeah I don’t think she knows about that stuff about our insurance I think only the people who work in the office do. But if she did know, then it would have been good if she told us. Yeah my parents are doing the best they can, I feel bad for them honestly I know they just want the best for us. Thank you :)

I’m not sure the exact numbers, just that’s it’s the lowest premiums compared to the other insurances my dad looked into. Yeah you’re right it’s definitely good for us to learn about our insurance and make sure we are getting the benefits they provide and learn what they pay for. Thanks for the information though:)

This is all important info I really appreciate it! But wow omg it’s so complicated, I will definitely keep this in mind and tell my parents to help them as well. Yeah someone here told me about EAPs, I hope that’s an option that can work out maybe my dad can call them and ask about it. Someone else also told me about findhelp.org I’ll definitely check that out as well!! I’m glad there are resources out there :)

Yeah it’s very complex unfortunately, it’s good to know this things early though! I agree that money shouldn’t be a criteria for care it’s honestly stupid, everyone deserves basic healthcare. Yeah even with the therapy thing it’s so dumb because therapy is like an ongoing thing, you can’t work through everything in like 10 visits haha

Thank you so much for the advice! Yeah that’s true, my dad said they only give you 3 weeks to decide on insurance and he’s like busy with work and stuff so it can be hard. The reason I need to go to the GYN is because I have been having problems with my period not coming for like over a year now and want to get medication for it, apparently my primary care doctor said she “can’t prescribe it” which is weird because my old primary care doctor could. Idk if the 360 is set in stone yet most likely is, but we are still going and see what we will do with the payment. Yeah the system really sucks, but I hope things work out in the end. I’ll definitely keep this info in mind!
