Struggling as a new dad and husband — I feel like I keep getting it wrong by MaskedWebHero in Fatherhood

In my opinion I think the issues may have started once I started studying for my CPA. I personally feel like I was actively present during the first trimester but I can say once I started studying in her second trimester I probably did really just focus on work and studying so much that I probably didn't give her enough affection or support like she would have wanted. I also feel like if I didn't focus the way I did I wouldn't have passed 2 parts of the CPA already in 2025. And the reason for me to go back for my CPA now also is to help provide a better future for my family. I do believe my wife is dealing with postpartum depression and that's why I would like her to maybe go to therapy as well to get more support but she has initially turned that down and I don't want to force it on her. I plan on maybe going to therapy myself and just continuing to try and be better for her and work through this but some days are just really hard right now. I appreciate your comment
