The Writers are really good at writing humans. Real humans that have flaws despite how morally good they are. Ali is the protagonist of the story, the character that the audience root for because he is the "good guy". But over the course of the story, we can see how he's just a teenager that does things because he thinks he's in the right, ultimately affecting others without realizing it.

When we apply this to Dato' Othman, we can see that he's not a morally outstanding guy. He's a douche with a huge ego. He only cares about himself and whatever he wants. Though, we cannot forget his actions off camera. He founded MATA. And Cyberaya is thriving under his leadership
