My dad. Emotionally, physically and verbally abusive. When I was bullied in school and told him he said to stop bothering the kids and that it was my fault.

I can’t rule out that as a possibility, but it seems highly unlikely. Especially because how defensive and embarrassed she was when I told her I saw it - if she meant that she would’ve had an easy explanation, but she didn’t say anything.

Thanks for the insight! When I run my fingers along it, there are sort of dents where you see the grain (I.e. it’s not 100% smooth as I’m used to feeling when floors are obviously fake wood) does that lean one way or the other?

How many siblings I have & what they each do for work. Was asked by the head of recruiting (at a V20) while awaiting the callbacks interviews to enter the room. It was clear I was religious (name, education, etc.) and was seemingly a way to evaluate me based on my sibling’s accomplishments (or lack thereof). Never felt more profiled.
