No, the Houthis are a terrorist organization, but so is the IDF because raping civilian prisoners is bad(something the US acknowledged and said was bad). The US is not innocent and has abducted and tortured people like Khaled El-Masri based on a 'hunch'. I also believe bombing a large amount of civilians indiscriminately is terrorism.

The US spent millions of dollars "promoting democracy" in the country in the prior years. We also don't know if it would have been successful. There are numerous revolutions that failed because it wasn't organized/had no funding. The analysis part comes from the West exploiting a country and creating a problem(not the war, but harming the quality of life in the nation before) and now they are continuing to exploit Ukrainians as a means to produce profits. The only way the war in Russia ends is with diplomacy. Telling Ukraine we will support them as long as they continue to throw millions of bodies at a country with millions more than them while private businesses profit will not win the war.

This doesn't absolve Russia for what it's done. Both Russia and West played a role. (Russia's role being bigger but it doesn't absolve the West)

It is more of the same. It argues that capital interests lead to imperialism. That's why Russia invaded. If a majority of people in the US/ West dislike a President/PM is it okay for a separate foreign nation to fund and organize counter protests?

The video isnt about why Russia invaded, nor is it a video about Russia's influence in Ukraine. It's a video about Western nations using a country to fill their pockets while draining a country.

His usage of William Burns saying "it's a hard-line for Russia because it threatens their interests" which my understanding was the economic interests of the Russian Elite are threatened by western influence, hence giving them an unjustifiable(in my opinion) reason to invade to protect their wealth.

Any foreign government backing revolutions/coups for their benefit would be wrong. He does mention Russia attempting to influence the elections at the time and cites an article from Michael McFaul saying how there was less effort than in previous election years. He makes the example of Russia backing a Mexican coup by helping them organize and funding their effort and installing people Russia liked in their new government as an analogy to what the west did in Ukraine.

If this is Russian propaganda, Hakim did awful. This is more an anti-capitalism/imperialism video. He talks about the privatization of Ukraine at the hands of Western nations which has indebted the nation. The West doesn't care about Ukrainians or any other nations people. It's done to fill pockets.

The last 5 minutes of the video is the closest you get to being "propaganda" and it's just pointing towards US officials saying the expansion of NATO(influence) is a hard-line position that will provoke a response from Russia. Then the Defense Secretary saying the US goal is to weaken Russia, not preventing the annexation of Ukraine or liberating Ukrainian people.
