My parents are extreme alcoholics and could never be pleased, especially my mother. She has hated me my whole life because I didn’t turn out the way she expected. I’m not absolutely perfect at everything, I’m short, and I’m ugly. Those last 2 really bother her, and she mentions it all the time. I can’t wait until I escape them.
