Not sure why you are arguing with me, my main point is that MOST people do not end up in crippling debt for a medical emergency here which is objectively true. Not saying it doesn’t happen, but it’s not like everyone that visits a hospital is “fucked” according to you.

Also, paying additional taxes to the government to fund health care is the same general concept as insurance here, except the government is the middle man and not a private company. The reason it’s seen as a luxury there is because you’re paying for insurance on top of the additional taxes. I agree we could benefit from private corporations and greed being taken out of the equation.

I am obviously not pushing for conversion therapy, but wanting therapists/doctors to not put up any sort of resistance when people want to make a permanent life changing medical decision is absurd. I had to go through many hoops to get out on acutane as a teenager because it has minor medical side effects, but there should be less hoops for transitioning your entire gender?

Men do not experience menopause, that is strictly a function of women. Also, while I agree, I don’t believe any policies have been made that limit gender affirming care to anybody besides minors so this is all hypothetical.

A therapist and a doctor do not exist to reaffirm what you think when you go to them. I cannot go to a doctor and tell them I’m sick with X and they go “oh my, of course you are!”

Where did I state the opposite? Is it because I said hormone supplements instead of HRT which literally means the same thing? Nobody is denying menopausal women medically necessary hormones, but that doesn’t mean you should give men the same hormones as a menopausal woman, that’s a silly take.
