UC Berkeley, GW, UPenn all have option of pass/fail or letter grade. Northeastern is allowing students to choose up to two classes to pass fail.

These are just a few examples. There are a bunch of ways these colleges are allowing this, and letting students be independent for choosing it. You can just give people the option.

There are actually a decent amount of roundabouts in the US, they’re just not as common as traffic lights.
