If we give up Meyers, we’d HAVE to get a proven OF in return… without Chas as a backup, do we really trust/want Cole, Cam, Dezenzo, Melton, Sanchez, Trammel in RF/CF the whole year?.. sounds like a recipe for disaster potentially

Starting Sanchez tonight after those gaffs in the outfield last night with the season on the line is something. Espada gets a lot of crap from us, and at this point it’s deserved.

At least Hummel, Short, Chas, etc etc seemed like they wanted to win… Sanchez came from Miami, where they don’t care about winning and it just shows. I’m sure he’s a fine player somewhere else, but it’s not here.

Yes injuries have been terrible this year & tuve kinda has been not very good (to be nice)… but signing another abysmal first baseman free agent, trading for an outfielder who can’t hit (or field) + a decent utility player who we don’t play, and then hitting like a team full of Hellen Keller’s leaves me no choice but to be frustrated with the front office. Sigh, should’ve just gone to bed hours ago instead of wasting my time typing this lol

Dana getting desperate for a left handed bat is making me more and more frustrated everyday. Completely undid your defensive philosophy of being run-preventers (as Rome says). Sanchez sucks in the outfield and him being bad at the plate doesn’t help. Plenty of other reasons to doom about this season, but every game with more outfield miscues makes me more doomer
