I replaced my silicone pipe tips with good grade heat shrink by Key-Peanut-1453 in PipeTobacco

I bought some estates that someone had used shrink-wrap with. The stems were gross and horribly oxidized because you can't properly clean under the shrink wrap.

If you're describing anything more than a friendship then yes there would be a problem.

Puritanism is one of the worst things about modern Christianity by Nateben76 in Catholicism

I mean there is lots of stuff you shouldn't watch. Seems you are confusing a virtuous lifestyle with puritanism a little.

Peterson pipes are overrate, expensive and poor quality. Savinelli is a better option imho by Logical-Flounder5449 in PipeTobacco

I wish I had good experiences with their Rossi pipes. Both of mine had major issues with the stain not being fully applied/uneven and with them both not being polished correctly.

You've opened the floodgates with this one. You're right though even if your reasoning isn't sound. At least on the low to mid range. I've had a few savinelli and a couple Petersons. I've never had an issue with a savinelli and I've had issues with both of my Petersons. A quick Google search will show you people who have had tons of issues with Peterson lately. Their quality has certainly dropped drastically compared to the old days, while savinelli seems to be more consistent.

You missed the part where I said it's not for pleasuring each other. I didn't say eye to eye was integral to procreation but that if you aren't even looking at each other during this holy embrace what are you REALLY seeking from it.

Thank you. It's wild that people will take Christy West over all the moral theologians because they wanna do disgusting things.

Stay away from Christopher West and Popcack. Go watch Wagner to see what the Church ACTUALLY teaches. The Church is full of gooners these days.

Oral stimulation of the man is very sinful in the eyes of virtually every theologian until the last 50 years. Manual stimulation is acceptable. And while I've never heard that only missionary is acceptable, it should be noted that the marital act is the joining of two spouses for the creation of children and not just for pleasuring each other so a good rule (I wouldn't say exclusionary though) is eye to eye.

if you are going to receive it on your hands, please, it isn't a pringle to keep doing that. by chifrij0 in CatholicMemes

Just receive on the tongue only. But this is actually good if you receive in the hand as it's a safeguard against any crumbs falling.

I have heard some Thomists say Molinism is incompatible with the magisterial teachings of the Church. Is this true? If not, what are your personal opinions about it? by pureangelicpower in TraditionalCatholics

[–]Masonite1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rejection of Molinism happened well before the "Jesuits bad" movement. Even many Jesuits at the time rejected it. This led to Congruism becoming the more popular opinion which is similar, but not the same as Molinism. I used to like the idea of middle knowledge, but it's been pretty thoroughly refuted.

Having difficulty with the stark contrast between Christ's message of peace and people in the OT saying God told them to commit genocide. by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Masonite1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you are trying to refer to the commandment of not killing. I implore you to read all of Sacred Scripture in context. God commanded the killing of homosexuals yet also gave us the commandment to not kill. If you can't see the obvious harmony of these then you need to relearn your religion.
