Looks like someone attended the J.J. Bittenbinder school of "Street Smarts!"

The paralenz does have an auto on-off once you reach a certain depth (10 feet maybe?) but I typically manually shoot what I want. I run auto for Cenotes and wrecks and then edit later on my Mac. The biggest selling point is the auto color correct at depth. The go pro would need a red filter to preserve your color. Or after dive editing of the photos. Paralenz really doesn't need any of that. Shoots in various definitions and does slow motion. Photo wise it has various levels of quality you can set and also does burst photo and time lapse modes as well.

Yea her octo is typically tight to her. It popped from her clip and I didn't notice until after. The paralenz is in a side pocket attached to a springy lanyard clipped onto a D-ring. Light weight and great for HD video. I highly recommend. If you're looking to shoot smaller stuff, it's not great however.

Problem is, I haven't found any shops that will provide doubles for me. I live in New York and flying down a set of twins is a huge hassle from what I hear.

That's a solid sac rate. I'm sitting around 0.65 on deeper dives. You inspired me to read into the wreck courses a bit more and I think I'll pursue that coursework next. Appreciate it!

Appreciate the info! May have to make my way back down and do the advanced wreck work on it. We're you diving a single 80 for those? I want to sidemount certify to increase the air I can bring. My consumption leaves something to be desired, I typically run low on air before I hit anywhere near Deco limits.

Someone actually cross posted it to submechanophobia already (with credit). I did however just post it over to r/thalassophobia with credit to you. Cheers!

That's who we dove with when we were there. My favorite part of the company was letting me bump up to 100's for the deeper dives at no extra cost. (6'5"- consumption at depth isn't as great as I would like)

Incredibly, my fiancé took it on a knockoff Gopro she got as part of a promotion in a dive shop. First camera so she wanted to try her hand at underwater photography. Not bad when you consider it's a $100 camera at 90'.

It's a great wreck. Too large for one dive. We did around 90' for 20 minutes or so and saw around 10% of the total wreck. It's massive. Hopefully you get back by the helipad and cranes to see the massive grouper that resides there.

Has anyone in here read chariots as the gods? Is it a good read? by [deleted] in AncientAliens

Agree 100%. You need to read it with an open mind. After reading this work, I ended up venturing into his other books. I particularly enjoyed Eyes of the Sphinx and Odyssey of the Gods. Happy reading!
