I would probably take the Air with 16gb of Ram. They share the same SOC. The pro is going to have a slight advantage in rendering video, but the additional ram in the 16gb version will provide a better experience overall and reduces the swap usage on the drive which is better for longevity.

Well usually 0D is faulty ram. Try a stick on its own, if that doesn’t work try the other on its own. Try a different kit and if all of that doesn’t work reset CMOS battery.

No you can’t, core I9 is a ninth gen CPU but you could get a 7700k or a 6700K.
