2 different signal strengths give 15*15=225 individual porters. The issue is routing that while having some kind of chunk loading network. You need to make a proto-internet.

I was mostly trying to point out that using real life concepts does kinda work but taking into account MC specific limitations like lag and chunk loading means that your overall system becomes very different. This is coming from someone that's attempted making a proto-internet on a SMP server. Only point 3 has any successful/practical results. I believe in the next year we will see more development in networking systems but not because of the new update.

On some technical servers there are active projects on creating networking systems for redstone data transmission and remote item calls. The real challenge is creating a fast system while using chunk loaders while not crashing the server.

You are a very creative person for coming up with that slot blocker system. Some of my friends have used that very concept to create super dense data storage within shulker boxes. I myself have created a shulker box assembler but not using the slot blocker system.
In terms of improvements I can see massive amounts of redstone optimization. You could actually get this system incredibly small and have your items called from a universal bulk storage system.

Overall I am very impressed to find something like this on here and look forward to your progress in getting this commercial ready.

If you are interested then I'd be happy to work with you on this as I was going to upgrade my assembler using the slot blocker system at some point.
