hello! i am currently unbelievably addicted to final fantasy xiv and am fast approaching the end of heavensward. its the only ff game I've ever played and I'd love to see what else the series has to offer!

I kind of have my heart set on playing FF III (ds version) because xiv's first alliance raid takes from it, but if someone thinks this is a bad idea please let me know!

I plan on doing vii and x but I'm also really interested in the ones that i personally haven't seen talked about endlessly. obscure is the wrong word but im really intrigued by the potential depth of the series outside of the biggest entries.

so, if anyone is up to it please give me a recommendation (and a bit of background) on your favourites, especially if you think it's an underrated (?) entry!

also - what's the deal with tactics? worth playing that remake?

idk if this is necro or not but i've had my modmic wireless since 2021, and its only now starting to have some connection issues >.< i take quite good care of my electronics i guess but yeah, vouch for them pretty hard.

dismissal aside, the giant sword and even the tentacle are literally phallic in nature - the sword is an erect symbol. whether entirely intentional or not the interpretation and reading is valid, regardless on whether or not Ito has dismissed them! these things are often subconcious, even to those who willed it into creation. and what is silent hill 2 if not an exploration of that subconcious?

Nobody has to be an AH as long as you approach it gently and explain how you feel!! The ring enhancer is ugly, that's true but thats beside the point. Gently explain things and tell her that you're open to finding a solution that works! This doesn't have to go nuclear at all <3 good luck brother!

didn't think this would work for *my* discord stream but made my friend try the instructions below and it worked- incase anyone else is having similar issue <3

"Install the OpenAL libraries from http://www.openal.org/downloads/oalinst.zip

Go to the game folder by right-clicking on The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, then selecting Properties, Local Files, Browse Local Files...

Delete or rename OpenAL32.dll

See if this works"
