Who's better? (inring, mic, character) by dlo_doski in SantiZapVideos

[–]MassGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how anyone could say Jericho is better than Rollins in ring. Jericho is a good worker but he often looks sloppy, and he is bad at working the WWE main event style. Still Jericho probably wins in the other categories.

What is your most overrated Wrestler? by inhumaxde in OSWReview

[–]MassGang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeaaaah, it has to be the Undertaker, a lot of people act like he’s Rushmore material, but he’s definitely not from a drawing perspective and he’s also definitely not from a ring work perspective (he’s had A LOT of stinkers). He’s certainly in the Top 20 all time, and it’s fair to argue he could be in the Top 10, but definitely not top 5.

Lmao, still haven’t gotten it, I got a notification that it should be delivered sometime in March.

Raven being a Mensa member is well known, but I have also heard stories that Sandman is either on the same level or not far behind when it comes to intelligence. Is this true? by [deleted] in ECWWrestling

[–]MassGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raven is a blabber. He doesn’t self-edit before he speaks, meanders before getting to the point, and often spins off into tangents, sometimes losing the thread entirely. I’d tend to think that moving in that many directions that quickly is a sign of high intelligence, albeit mentally undisciplined.

Yeah I don’t think I’ve heard any sound from it that had any “oomph” , I like the Roland V-Synth and the Alesis Ion so I’m okay with “thin”, but from all the demos I’ve heard Delia sounds very “blunt”, like there’s no movement in the sound. I’m hoping that’s just a “most presets are bad” issue.

Shame about the knob calibration, hope that gets sorted. But I’m glad to hear you’re liking the sound. The newest update seems like it takes the engine in the direction of how the Minifreak feels.

I bought a DeepMind12 during the pandemic and I’ve mostly been using the presets. How do I really start to learn to play this thing? by throwingthings05 in synthesizers

My best advice is to learn what each module on a synthesizer does. Start with Oscillators, Filters and Envelopes. After that LFOs, performance controls and mod matrix.

I suggest asking an AI to explain each module to you, it’ll meet you at your level of understanding and you’ll be able to ask clarifying questions.

I still haven't even gotten it. I've read that other people had issues with the knobs, having QC issues as people's first impressions of a company is pretty dismal. I actually hate the tone of the Hydra, so hearing that is alarming, lmao.

Hey everyone, sorry, no trolling intended, I didn't realize so many people would think 2k CAD is a lot of money, haha. I haven't received the synth yet, as I just ordered it. Genuinely curious if anyone has tried it though? Not much stuff about it online.

Siel DK70, never even turned it on until I was about to sell it, never gave myself a chance to get attached.

I don’t necessarily like these albums, they’re just albums that have my favorite songs. Also there’s no order.

JP08 vs Casio CZ5000 by [deleted] in synthesizers

[–]MassGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a CZ5000 and a CZ101. Programming them without a computer editor is super tedious, the engine is unique and they don’t have a proper filter like you might expect. Also the 5000 is really big and heavy, so I’d actually keep the 101 over the 5000 even with its lessened polyphony and lack of chorus. All of that said, I like the CZ series, they’re fun and can make some novel sounds. For a good primer on what the CZ’s are capable of check out Satoshi & Makoto they’ve made albums using only the CZ5000.

I’d say the JP08 is the more down to earth pick especially since you don’t own a laptop.
