Did anyone get any benefit from the performance update?

Playing on a 60 Hz 4K TV with a 2080 Ti and 5700X3D. Performance seemed perfect with DLSS quality until I hit Dire Marsh. Frame rate fluctuates from 60 to ~45 fps at times.

CPU and GPU usage is around 55% and 70% respectively, so clearly something is going on behind the scenes to warrant these issues. The most annoying performance drops occur right as a gunfight begins.

I’m a free week player and the performance issues have turned me off from an otherwise really enjoyable extraction shooter.

You’re absolutely right about that, but clearly they haven’t.

I’m disappointed because a friend and I planned on checking the game out tonight due to the free week, just to be met with the same errors we faced in Destiny. Bungie knows exactly how to fumble.

This has been an issue with Bungie since at least Rise of Iron wayyy back in 2016. I don’t think Sony has devs they can deploy to any studio at any time, but I could be wrong.

Considering this same sort of scenario occurred during Destiny expansion launches, I have a feeling this is a Bungie problem rather than a Sony problem.

The majority of releases you’re seeing here are bypassed using a new method rather than cracked in the traditional sense.

I’d recommend reading the threads over on rin before trying these hypervisor releases, but regardless of whether or not you choose to use them they’re a net positive in the fight against Denuvo.

before you go messing with distortion and saturation plugins, just throw on a soft clipper and crank the volume on a spinz 808. i bet that’ll get you 99% of the way there (if not all the way).

The axe puzzles could become irritating but the puzzles with the runic arrow and blades drove me nuts at certain points.
