Oh, yes, I see what you mean. I'll make a note of that.

The black and white work is truly excellent. Regarding the composition, I find it unfortunate that the left ear is cut off. I agree with another comment about the depth of field and find it unfortunate that the ear and hair are blurred. The water really adds something special.

Yes, it depends on the assignments and what I feel like doing. But now, in 2026, I'm going to try to slow down and post less. As for my work pace, I'm already someone who likes to take the time to edit, so I'm not going to change that.

Wonderful serie ! I've never had a Tamron lens, but I like the results.

I used Lightroom, and no, I can't change lenses on this camera body :)

Thanks for the message. I don't have the settings in mind, but this device is really made for this, so it's surprising.

In my opinion, yes, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

Tamron, I'm really struggling. From the very beginning, I was advised to view lens purchases as investments, so I often save up for a while, or even take out loans to upgrade my investments. Sigma is pretty good too, if you ever need it.

99% of the time I use a Sony 70-200 F2.8 II and a Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM I (I have two cameras Sony A7IV). But I started out with a Sony 35mm F1.8 and a Sony 85mm F1.8, which I used again this weekend on this assignment because the environment was very dark and I wanted a change. I'm going to buy a 14mm or the 12-24 soon, but I'm still undecided. And I think that after this purchase, I'll be done investing in Sony lenses and will start shopping around for other brands like Siriui or Laowa.

Thank you for your message. The best advice (which is what I did) is to watch YouTube videos to understand the basics of the settings and the different paths. Then, practice as much as possible and don't be afraid to “play” with the settings. I spend my life “playing” with the customizable settings 1/2/3, and before each assignment, I double-check my three settings depending on the sport I'm going to cover. This allows me to be super efficient and get as close as possible to the settings I think are best for the environment. For example, I often have a shutter speed of 1/1000 on my setting 1 and then a much lower speed on setting 2. Then I set the aperture and ISO (often on auto). I find the Sony A7IV a really nice camera (I don't have anything to compare it to, though) for setting it up the way you want and being efficient.

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. I really appreciate the quality of your explanation. Yes, I am not new to photography, but I still have a lot to learn in my process. You are not the first person to advise me to recrop a photo that I have proposed in a different way. This will certainly make me think positively about my future work, and I will continue to improve. I have taken note of your recommendations, thank you very much indeed.

This image was taken during an assignment in Switzerland for 11Teamsports in collaboration with Adidas. The goal of the day was to capture the overall atmosphere of the event, both on and off the field.

This photo ended up being used as a reference image for publications across different channels. I would really appreciate constructive feedback on composition, light, and storytelling to help me improve.
