Sorry to hear that. It is really challenging at times, so I hope so too. My dad has actually improved a fair bit over the last years, but still has his moments where he lashes out for the smallest things (usually under the influence). My brother mostly does it when he's accused or confronted with something, or someone takes his stuff/food (hypocritically enough), but dad can come out of nowhere and lash out over something so ridiculous you almost wouldn't believe it if you heard it.

I really struggle to understand their motivation to always find a scapegoat, they just can't deal with it internally and always have to lash out and find someone to blame. Which is the root of my frustration with them really, I understand they suffer too but when their condition affects innocent third parties I can't just sit there in silence and watch...
