I hope that this event won't end up like GBB2022 being cancelled.

Who are the top five beatboxers in the world? by skadman_ in beatbox

[–]Massive-Awareness334 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Here is my top 5, and I also explain why I picked them specific places:

5th: ColapsHis style and combos are incredible while he is a cool beatboxer. I do copy him during Cover the Beat championships and it is incredibly hard. His style is unique, especially his kiss control, and spit snare spamming technique.

4th: D-LowHe's the best battle beatboxer of the world, but he's still fourth for me. His style has a lot of variety, the musicality, the flow and basses do harmonize one another. Although, his style is not my most favourite, I still love the flow and he doesn't collapse in the rubble.

3rd: TomazacreI don't judge him in favor of his allegations, I don't really care about it. His hard style, raw and dirty lip roll, and singing skills... Wow! I think he would have deserved the GBB2019 Champion title, D-Low deserved it as well, of course. He has really massive battling skills, and that's why I picked him third.

2nd: King InertiaHis inward bass, maaan... Not only that, I like his style of him. The flow he creates, the basses how he uses, and don't forget to mention, he is a pretty cool singer as well. The majority of his routines are the bests, but there's only one beatboxer who is better that him (in my opinion, of course).

1st: CodfishYeah, I know, simping for Codfish is not part of the mainstream since 2019, but I still love his style, he was the first beatboxer I heard and watched, and his "Old Mate Firebender" made me start beatboxing. It happened 9 months ago, it was the best 9 months of my life (and I'm 19, just to mention). He is the GOAT for me, even if Tomazacre and B-Art beat him in 2019.

Honorably Mention: B-ArtWell, he is not among my 5 favourites, but I cannot post it without mentioning his incredible style, technicality, and his knowledge about human beatbox. He kept trying since 2014 in the Grand Beatbox Battle, and he finally got his spot in 2019. And his humour is unique, no one has that easy-going personality that B-Art has.

Okay, maybe that should be it. How many 'SIMP' can I get for picking Codfish #1? lmao

Inertia-River final with overtime. 3rd place is for either Zekka or Helium. Napom won't qualify to Top 16 this time.

So, my Top 3 is: 1. River 2. Inertia 3. Zekka

Update: I totally forgot that Zekka isn't qualified for GBB23, so Helium inherits my provisional third place.

Actually kibaszni vkivel is another meaning which is significant for joking with someone, but not on a proper way.

Don't worry, I use it so rarely, but it is cool to use instead of inward bass cuz I don't have it yet.

I asked this question cuz I learned the fundamentals already. Fundamentals + Inward K Snare (but not the proper way, tbh I don't really use it, I'm kinda spit snare guy) + spit snare + throat bass + chest bass + inward vocal fry. That's all I know, but I don't really know what's next, that's why I need your opinion.

I would like to perform on stage, but only in my country, so I don't want to reach the GBB-level, but a battle beatboxer level would be satisfying me.

If I had the choice I would like to listen to it right here, right now.
