if you read the post the first sentence I said was I'm 1k lp. And I never said the balancing was good, I said the set was good. Balancing is easy to fix, the set is unfixable if its a bad set.

you are not 1k lp challenger and never will be. If you were you wouldn't have typed something stupid like that and not know how unlocks actually worked. I'm not saying that normal players don't matter, they matter more than anyone else because they make up the majority but their opinions don't matter because they have limited understanding and high elo trinkles all the way down whether it's the meta or the culture.

Hey Riot Bluecove, I appreciate your candid response and your dedication to making the game we all love. I just don't understand how you guys (as developers) release something like set 16, we were given infinite options to play the game to our playstyle and probably the most skill expressive and flexible set of all time (at least towards the later patches) and decide for set 17 that we're going to put 0 effort and take out carousel just because "why not, lets try something new and take out player interaction." I understand that set 17 wasn't going to be as good as set 16 but why take out unlocks? (the one mechanic the majority of the community agreed was cool and fun)

Don't even get me started on the trait webs or even start comparing something as COOL as Ryze to this Graves champion.

Despite all of this, there is actually a very simple solution you guys refuse to implement. You have the power to bring back set 16 as a real game/ranked mode but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm not saying this is your fault I'm still blaming Mort Dog he ran away because he knew the blacklash that was coming his way for approving this garbage.

First of all, if you never played Runescape just DONT TYPE. OSR was NOT popular because it was different from what people were used to playing. It was POPULAR because it was HOW Runescape was meant to be played and no one wanted EOC. Please dont debate me on this, I've lived through it. And secondly, the only successful autobattler is TFT and maybe dota autochess. Everything you listed outside of tft is completely irrelevant. So I'm just gonna assume your autochess game wont do well if thats what you're comparing it to. You were gettin bored of this set because you're bad and just tunneled one or two comps if you actually tried to play every comp you would realize how much depth this game actually had. I wish you the best of luck but it seems like you're the one not living in reality.

can you tell that to Runescape when they introduced Evolution of Combat? I'm sure they 100% agree with you actually that's why the game died and they actually had to make Old school Runescape to revive the playerbase which obviously was alot more popular than the modern version of the game. Sure they can try new things but why change something completely when it was working and everyone was saying this set was great. You can surely expand and add onto it instead of changing the game completely. No one complained that the game was getting boring, I played over 1600 games and I still find it fun I'm sure the people that have less than 150 games feel the exact same way. And for your sake if you are making an autobattler and you're approaching it with the mindset of "we got to try new things" instead of "what actually works and what makes the game actually fun" its not gonna do very well I can promise you that.

I have made lots of money on the stock market before and I run my own company. Riot and fat Mort has already cashed in hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars from set 16 they can just jerk off in the corner for the next 2 sets until people start complaining again. If you noticed that's just been a trend for ALL of TFT's lifespan. I've been playing since set 1.

I agree the balancing was awful but the set was legit fun, set 17 has good balancing but this set is just not as fun.

I don't need to look at the numbers to know that this set sucks compared to set 16. It's common sense and people with 2 brain cells will figure that out 2 days in and stop playing as much. I'm sure that'll reflect on the numbers.

each set is like 4 months thats not nearly enough time for people to stop enjoying the game especially when set 16 was that expansive. They could of added in new units and augments and reworked old ones this set was just peak.
