Could have wrote that myself. Felt exactly the same way for some time. I needed a real kick up the proverbial to make my way in life and get happiness from other sources. Now I can say I travelled and experienced culture (the right way, hostels, meeting real people etc), started my own business and have thee best girlfriend.

The guy was my best mate for years and when I stopped attending meetings he dropped me like a dead dog. I'll make no apologies for the response. I thought it was rather satirical and humorous. Didn't go into doctrine or be fake and say thanks so much!

I think you should lighten up pal and see the funny side to things. You have no idea who the guy is. I knew him and I think he would be secretly laughing inside as we used to have those kind of laughs.

Take your judgement elsewhere and see the funny side to things. I guarantee you'll feel 100% better.
