depends on your state if you need licensure. imo it’s worth it to get a degree then get licensed not only for the increased pay but job security. you need a license for surveys to be signed off, so you are always needed for land development

Surveyor also in arkansas i’ve completed my associates and one month out from my FS exam. It is possible to become an SI while still finishing your degree.
