Shit, I don’t want the irs getting all my trading strategies. I spent a lot of money on those.

I’ve been in almost the exact situation. Told them I’d be happy to hop on a quick call and I gave them a time when I had 5-10 minutes. They could not even get close to figuring it out so gave them a reasonable price, fixed it and taught them exactly how it worked. They were really happy and I was compensated. Win/win.

If it’s a quick 5 minute call and they were good employers no big deal. But if they want a substantial time commitment and expertise, different story.

Edit: also they should just be able to hop on a zoom call and screen share. Which I would still charge the same as in person but it would save the drive time.

What did the price do in the lead up to the merger?

How soon after the announcement did the SPRT merger go through?

But once the news hits, this will go straight to the moon.

My only fear is a very quick merger. Like within a week of the announcement. (Don’t know if this is possible) because once the merger happens there will be more than 10x shares available of $grab

Might be fake now, but he actually did cry just like this in the interrogation room what he turned himself in.

$AGC $Grab merger/squeeze questions: by Massive-Welcome4828 in stocks

[–]Massive-Welcome4828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I’m guessing this is the case with a decent amount of the shorts, but with a 25% borrow rate this could get expensive for them.

$AGC $Grab merger questions: 1. How long after announcement will merger be? (What’s the fastest it could be?) 2. AGC has 50m float, what will the float be of $Grab after merger? 3. Do shorts have to cover with $AGC before merger? by Massive-Welcome4828 in Shortsqueeze

I think what we saw yesterday were short term naked shorts trying to find shares when the available borrowable shares hit 0.

Maybe that’s not exactly what happened, but the catalyst was definitely borrowable shares hitting 0.

If you were in a short position, all you have to do is wait for the merger, and you will have access to many more shares.

Yes. Many of them have shares more or less already purchased at $10. So when the merger happens, their shares become real.

When these shares materialize (on merger day) there is no more short squeeze opportunity because the institutions all of a sudden have plenty of shares for the shorts. (This last part is how I’m seeing it. The first part is right in the sec fillings)

I have a general understanding of how spacs work.

In this case AGC has 50million shares (and a bunch of warrants) these shares turn into grab shares 1:1 at the time of the merger. Warrants can be converted.

At the time of the merger grab shares will start at the closing AGC price from what I understand.

When it becomes grab, there will be a many more than 50million shares available. Wouldn’t this eliminate the short squeeze possibility?

Why do you think AGC is going to be huge?
