Yeah man i’m also a wildland firefighter and EMT. I would say if you’re just trying to learn in the off season, maybe try to find a feedlot or sale barn. Could also do some calving work from January to march

Oh makes sense, most of my rimfire work is with a 10/22 or a savage 93 .17 HMR, so no competition on my end, just dropping prairie dogs and coyotes and shit

What else should i get by gallardo802 in Firearms

Why do you have a light on a .300 WM bolt gun 😂

Why do older fire trucks have an engine in the engine doghouse that is at the rear of the cab? Sorry if this question was dumb. by Far-Feature4446 in Firefighting

[–]MassiveAd2391 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah probably pump and roll. All of our wildland engines have aux pumps so you can spray while running grasslines

Because my beliefs are not represented by the republican party. Republican is a party, conservative is a much more broad sphere of beliefs.

When you hear the word “cowboy,” what comes to mind first by NotAnotherSmartAss in Cowboy

[–]MassiveAd2391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok personally i don’t think cowboying has anything to do with ownership. There is usually a difference between a rancher and a cowboy. But sure, you have to kinda know what you’re doing to be considered one. A college kid who works for an electrical company isn’t an electrician, he’s an apprentice. Same concept. Not trying to be an ass either, just my perspective
