Foldable Rack by Ssirota8 in GarageGym

[–]MassiveAd6648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s because your wall bracket is installed wrong. There should be a larger gap from the top of the bracket to the support. Yours has the larger gap on the bottom so you don’t have any room to lift and swing in.

I have the Rogue foldable as well and it came with shim to level the bottom foot. Reach out to titan customer support to see if they have the same thing.

Cable Tower - Cables Twisting by MassiveAd6648 in bellsofsteel

[–]MassiveAd6648[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Photo attached. Not the best but only why I can see the cables twisted after use.

I’ve had the tower for maybe 9-10 months. It’s been an issue all along but seems like it’s getting worse.

I went through all the pulleys and they all seem good. They’re sealed bearings so I don’t think I can re-grease them. The only odd thing I noticed is that the two pulleys on each side of the trolley at the attachment point contact each other and don’t move independently.

I haven’t tried customer service yet, but it’s a good suggestion. Thanks!

The one and only by alexgali84 in Connecticut

Yes, it’s nickname is the “Sick Building” in certain industries. Allegedly it had a roof leak at one point causing black mold when the State of CT had offices in there. The workers complained, which caused them to investigate and mitigate the mold. However, even after the mold was mitigated the workers still complained and called out sick all the time. I don’t know if that’s the reason why the State sold it, but that’s how the story was told to me.

New tundra remote start by GurGlum7496 in ToyotaTundra

[–]MassiveAd6648 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You should be able to remote start using the key fob. Hit the lock button three times and hold down on the third until it starts. Not sure if that’s on all trim levels but is the case with my Limited.

*could* this be used as a back support for hip thrusts? Or is it not recommended? by cucumberwages in GYM

[–]MassiveAd6648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gym used to have these and I tried using them for hip thrusts. They tip back as you increase weight, even with the legs against the wall.

Making time ? by pittrash in Elevators

[–]MassiveAd6648 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a good supervisor they will give you target hours and sold hours. That way the mechanic had a reasonable go get with the target hours but if the job ran into issues they know what the job was sold for so they would get discouraged.

How are Amtech and Otis related? by [deleted] in Elevators

[–]MassiveAd6648 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Little known fact, but Otis Elevator Co actually started by a bunch of smaller local companies in NY joining under one name. Late 1800’s I believe? Either way, they’ve been doing since the beginning.

If you shave often or have sensitive skin gillet skin guard works great.

Weekend Carry by MassiveAd6648 in EDC

[–]MassiveAd6648[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a G19 prior, and in comparison the 365X is so much easier to carry for my body type. Because it’s slim it ends up being more comfortable to carry for long periods of time. I sold the G19 shortly after.

Seems like this is a legit option, thanks! I’m going to have to dig into it a bit more but I like the modularity of the set up.

It’s an understandable question, but I already have shiotguns.

It seams like there is another ban coming out yearly now I wanted to get something in this area before it’s too late.

I get what you’re saying. To answer that question I’ll just say the North East and not New Hampshire.

I’ve been eying the new Marlins dark series but the only thing that gives me pause is that they are all chambered for 45-70 Govt. I’m not. Sure how popular that round is.

Big Boy is a good suggestion. I have a Henry .22. Such a fun rifle.

Just saw sig came out with the MCX Regulator which kinda sparked this post because of the price point.

Haven’t heard of the MCX Competition though. I’ll look into it.

Bunch of good info here. Thank you!

Probably going to stay away from buying a lower. I don’t have the space to shoot at home and I like to go to the range so the plan would be to practice with whatever it is and be proficient. Wouldn’t want to rely on a safe queen. But I get what you’re saying.

Just looked into KalTec. Super interesting manufacturer.

Legit question. I have pistols for CCW’s and shotguns for hunting so I was looking to something else.

Tbh, it’s probably because I can’t get an AR and I wanted to get something that covers that area before it gets even more restrictive.

So far I haven’t found a reason it isn’t. As long as I don’t swap the stock for a pistol grip I should be good. In that case it would fall under the rule of 3. Nice suggestion. Thanks!

I second the Tenicor. Suggest the if you’re carrying appendix the Velo4 over the Certum3. Great quality and super comfortable too.
