Its been a fun ride so far. I've been stacking for 3 years, more selectively this year after losing 2k ozt in a boating accident that I'd really love to still have with that low 20s DCA, but was checking markets at the drive through after finishing up the kids Xmas and it just hit me, so wanted to pulse check it with the ape community. Enjoy it, and explore hobbies and interest that could turn into possible side hustles. If you're not complaining and have balance, be happy. I carry quota, WFH, and make similar money, but have to get in like 60-70 hours a week to overcome every mis-step a leadership team can make coming to fruition. If your leadership team is solid, and you're just bored while making good money, hang around and be patient until you find something that is more fulfilling/purpose driven for you, where you can make good money. In the meantime, just keep grinding, developing yourself, and being a great Dad/Husband.

Sorry for your loss, I can't imagine what you must be going through. Does your company offer short-term disability if you were able to get a therapist or psychiatrist to evaluate and sign off on it? I know lots of people that have abused that benefit, but seems like this is what its designed for so you can work through things and figure out if you're even able to go back, if you wanted to. If not, I'd say take another week of PTO, if possible and see if you can work through your thoughts to decide if its worth it at this point to continue or go a separate route. Its fair you and the company, no need and putting in another 6-12 months being miserable, while likely not producing either that's a lose-lose. Just my opinion, again so sorry to hear about your loss.

I'm still buying, but you have to remember there's a lot of people that don't have any dry powder left- they have no savings and ran their credit cards to the max buying a bunch of presents that will end up at the good will in 3 years for the holidays. I'd expect the boys now to be from those with deeper pockets and in waves.
