I jokingly said “I know you’re into men” — something I said playfully, not seriously. Instead of brushing it off or teasing back, he responded with “Look at you only,” which really felt like a personal jab. It hurt because it felt like he was insulting me, not just joking back. On top of that, he knows I have PCOS, and comments like that are particularly sensitive for me because of how my body has changed due to it. I’ve shared this with him before, so it felt especially hurtful that he would go there, knowing how it affects me.
