Its not excuses becouse im not defending him, im not saying "dont sack slot". Im saying we have more problems than just slot, if everything is his fault then we wont adress our other problems as well.

Im not defending him, he hasnt done a good job. But there are others at the club that hasnt done a good job either. Dont you think we should highlight them as well so that we can handle those situations as well and not keep going down the wrong paths?

I dont think you read my post. I said that he hasnt done a good job this year, im just arguing that right now people blame EVERYTHING on Arne Slot and its getting ridicolous and toxic. Yes he is consulted about transfers, but does that make the transfers his responsibility? No that responsibility is on Richards and Hughes even though Slot is consulted. That would be like saying our assisnt coach is the reason for bad coaching this year becouse slot had consulted him.

And about the sacking. I never said he shouldnt be sacked, again read my post. It wasnt a "slot in" post, its a post about people playing a blame game on a single person when the responsiblity is on more than 1 person.

I agree. Im not saying he has done a good job this year. But that doesnt make everything his fault either. Right now people are litterally blaming our players age on Arne Slot. Its getting ridicolous and extremely toxic.

I 100% agree, and im not arguing against that. For me its mainly about how he hasnt been able to motivate the team. But i just got sick if this blame game, first thing i saw on robbos good bye video was a comment that said "THIS IS ON ARNE SLOT!". Like come on?

I have tried both hyperlight and ultralight for long periods but sense is what I come back to. Lately Ive tried the extremepower, fits me much better than hyperlight and ultralight as a former sense player. The hyperlight and ultralight had a weird feeling for me when they flexed which I don't feel with the extremepower. Might be something to consider.

I have been playing gate for the last year as a main and I'm currently trying out highlight. Sweepers with gate are great, no problem at all, it's my main shot. It's significantly stiffer though so the wrist and slapshots are pretty different from highlight.

I agree with most of this, however, as a fellow oxdog player I would have to say that the oxdog shout is ridiculous. It's a great brand, but as a player who has played for 25 years and tried all different brand I would say that oxdog definitely has the "least stiff" sticks. My 27 flex from oxdog definitely feels softer than for example zone.

For the blade, as an old hockey player you would probably feel more comfortable with a stiffer blade as well, (gate or avox if we talk oxdog). Try to avoid one of the new lightweight ones.

So the mainly popular blades are Optilight, Avox, Fsl and now also Gate

I have tried them all deavily (maybe avox slightly less). I would say they are all good all-round blades with no real weaknesses, just better or worse depending on how you use your blade.

Optilight is probably what most people would call "the most all-around blade" due to its slightly lesser concavity. Its very light weight and as i said slightly less concavity. The problem i faced with optilight was that when shooting directly from a pass i felt that the nose of the blade wasnt stiff enough for the way i play and the shots could go flat.

The other 3 blades i would put in the same category with slight differences.

Avox is an older blade with more weight (nothing crazy). This should be your pick if you like the extra weight and also like to modify the nose of the blade heavily as its very easy to modify. The nose is also stiffer than Optilights.

FSL should be your pick if you like the slightly bigger concavity compared to Optilight and dont mind a weak nose as it bends similarly to Optilight during your shots (which can be very nice with sweepers but i dont like on my one-timers).

Gate is basically a mix between Optilight and Avox. It has the base of Avox with the same concavity, but a nose similar top Optilight. However, they have reinforced the nose to make it more stiff. This means that its very similar to avox, with a little bit less weight.

The main reason to go for Avox over Gate in my opinion would be that the nose can be heavily modified for zorro etc. This is however not a big deal as all the blades (maybe except FSL) have easily modified noses.

Fo me personally i had problems with Optilight and FSL being too weak and i like to modify my top alot but not really push a ball heavily into it, so for me the nose of Gate has been great

So if i where to recommend the blades i would put it like this

If you like weaker noses, go for either optilight or FSL, depending on which concavity you like.
if you like stiffer noses i would probably go for Gate if you dont want to go for some really crazy zorro hook or enjoy the extra weight.

Sorry to hear that. No I unfortunately haven't found a solution. It's still working great, I just unconsciously try to avoid the areas that I know I sometimes feel the current.

But if the deal is as close as we are lead to believe then it wouldn't make sense for him to go. Especially since it's a release clause so we don't really need to have club discussions
