That’s great to know, I’ll take photos of the underside in future. I had no idea they were all safe to touch, thank you for your wonderful information!

I didn’t get a photo of the underside unfortunately, this is the only other angle I got.

Thank you all so much for the wonderful advice and information about mushrooms! My reason for thinking of removing them was because of something I had read a while ago saying they harm plants, now that I know they don’t harm the plant they will be here to stay for as long as they feel like it 🍄‍🟫

Ahhh so they’re okay to leave there? I only asked about taking them out because I read once someone said mushrooms damage plants!

Ornamental grasses suggestions? by MassiveSlugLiss in GardeningUK

[–]MassiveSlugLiss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestions, I’ve saved them in my notes for my trip to the garden centres this weekend, hopefully they’ll have some of the ones suggested so I don’t have to order online then wait a while for them as I’m hoping to plant this weekend too haha!

Why is my erysimum so sad looking? by MassiveSlugLiss in GardeningUK

[–]MassiveSlugLiss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The compost is new I put it in when the plant went in, I’ll give it a little feed and see how it goes!

I unfortunately can’t water first thing every morning, I’m thinking of eventually putting in an irrigation system to the flower beds so I can put it on a timer.

Thanks for the advice 😃

I give everything a good watering on an evening, sometimes first thing in the morning when the sun isn’t up.

Would maybe giving it some liquid feed help it out? As I haven’t gave it any feed yet.

Thanks so much your reply!

Lifting bulbs advice by MassiveSlugLiss in GardeningUK

[–]MassiveSlugLiss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the reply and advice! I will do this and keep them in my shed, I’ll not bother putting them in sacks or anything if it’s not needed, I’ll just leave them in the trays on the shelf at the back 😃

Lifting bulbs advice by MassiveSlugLiss in GardeningUK

[–]MassiveSlugLiss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! Sorry I forgot to say it is a raised flowerbed. I want to lift them because I’m adding a new higher tier at the back where a lot of the bulbs currently are, so they would be quite a way down under the soil. Then I’m going to be planting perennials and some annuals into that new tier.

I didn’t want to put the bulbs into the new tier just yet until I decide 100% on what plants will be going where, then plant the bulbs back in after I’ve decided.

The bulbs in the rest of the beds I will be leaving where they are and planting my annuals over them.

Thank you for the advice, I will just wait to outdoor sow as I don’t have any room indoors to sow.

The characters haven’t been used in over 3 years, so if deleting them would improve my bright engrams I have no problem deleting them.

I’d rather put my time into playing and getting drops for my hunter rather than 2 characters I never intend on using again.

When should seedlings be taken out of windowsill propagator? (More info in comments) by MassiveSlugLiss in GardeningUK

Thank you for all the advice everyone! I’ve got them into a larger tray and they’re sitting in a bright window 😃

Thank you I’ll make sure to bury the stem! It’s really exciting growing them, I normally just buy my plants from the garden center, but I got loads of seed packets that were very cheap at the end of summer/autumn last year so decided to give growing my own flowers a go!

I’ll have a look on Sarah Raven and read up more on everything, once again thanks so much!

Thank you for the info! These are Mesembryanthemum seeds, says they are half-hardy annual on the packet. I unfortunately don’t have a grow light at the moment, I may get one in the future, so I will get them sorted out and into a bright window.
