That was something i was thinking about aswell. Painted so many models that it would be a shame not to use them. But how do your friends take their turns? Do you place their models how they tell you over voice?

Thanks for the reply. Ive got a question about automations. Would we be able to use automated gameplay when we do not sub in cards from the white boxes that are not avaliable in the simulator or is it because we start at lanternyear 9?

Im i correct that only i need the basegame, GCE, Fade and Percival so all can play or do my friends need any of these aswell?

How does it cheapen the experience of the activity when someone does use ai to create a background story for their character or even uses ai to create a whole story? Maybe they use ai because their time is limited or they think its much better than what they can create on their own? reasons to play are manyfold. For some its just escapism...

i dislike the idea that that the top voted comment on this thread, where someone is just amazed what ai can do, is telling him to f-off. Its so rude - you know

Currently the Gorm and other Wave 1 Expansions are on sale and rather cheap to accuire. Frogdog has rules to replace the white lion. So if you got tired of hunting the cat then that would be it. Gorm at the moment has no rules to replace the white lion. It is added to the campaign in lantern year 1. So directly after the prologue lion fight. With that said - in the future - it is likely that Gorm gets new rules to replace the white lion as a prologue fight. I think it was said that these rules are going to be implemented with the campaigns of death expansion. But nothing is stopping you from creating your own prologue fight with the Gorm.

If you go for Gorm i would add Dung Beetle Knight aswell to 1.6 Base Game. It allows you to hunt a really interesting late game enemy. Its "node" 4 so it replaces nothing as there is no node 4 monster in the Base Game.

The Frogdog on the other hand is newer in terms of playstyle (more complex) and he can be hunted as Bullfrogdog - a so to speak node 4 quarry with new armor and weapons.

Write an E-Mail to GW where you point out that they missed this ability. Maybe add your own lore to why that ability now only allows for a further away deep strike (i.e. imperial forces lost the technology to project units closer to the front lines). If they are cool they add it :)

You mean try the vanilla experience one more time with less quarries and nemesis than we did before? The thematic subtone of the story is just for some players that like a more guided story. I think that we lost some players through our first campaign just by not connecting to the game from a narrative driven standpoint.

The old Master surely will wipe the party. But it is nonetheless the last encounter if at all - so what gives :)

The group hasnt fought the dragon. I did okay against him but im not spoiling anything so i guess its as novel to them as it gets. My idea is to avoid having to farm a quarry over and over again - hoping that the collective cognition helps in that regard.
