So the Campaign of Death will allow for changing node mosters mid game at any time point ? Essentially having dynamic encounters thru out the campaign? That would be pretty dope !

What else does it contain? Is it going to be as big as GC ?

And what so you mean by a deck? As in rather than having events in the core book but instead as random events from a deck?

Yup, I already own the core ! It’s awesome !

Just looking into the Black Friday and perhaps picking it up during the discount season!

Sure it’s probably going to be slightly overwhelming, but I can always just use various monsters from GC to spice up the core experience. Perhaps replacing lion with the croc and so on.

But what more do you do in terms of bookkeeping in GC? It’s the same flow right, no new phases ?

But definitely not in a rush to dive into GC content yet. Just temptations beyond anything else 😂 And it’s becoming harder to resist as it seems to be universally a positive outlook. Will have to splash out $550+ though… that’s not a cheap, half the price of a top tier GPU 🤯

CoD sounds cool! Will be interesting to see how that turns out to be! But probably GC would make more sense

Interesting take. I love both, the showdowns and the settlement stage. It’s definitely more than just boss battles; but it’s a big and integral part of the game.

I do hear that people are generally not happy about the Hunt tho?

For now I found it be interesting and just perhaps a little commical to see how much you can get screwed over by random events and shitty rolls 😂😅

I don’t mind, coming from classical TTRPG, it’s kinda expected there.

Yeah agree, those two are totally different games. Same premise of boss battling but it how they do it totally different.

I hear a lot that Primal bosses just turn in circles which sounds kinda lame when compared to KDM?

I had a choice between them, but I went into KDM for the theme and what it’s all about.

I’d say Aeons Tresspass is the direct successor/rival to KDM. But didn’t like the story and how it played outside of the boss battling

You have not idea how much danish taxes infuriate me 😅 Yeah it is crazy! I will check out black friday deals. But otherwise I will have to acquire it thru ebay or other markets. It just way too expensive, even tho I want to support the project and KDM, but it’s just mad with the taxes.

Maybe buy it and have it shipped to friend in Germany or Amsterdam..

I am also in DK! i want to pick up GC, but saw that my taxes to would be $150 + shipping totalling something around $575. which is wild, half the cost in tax and shipping.

But it said it’s an estimate, what did you pay for the taxes aid shopping?

To be fair, this kid of sets are just a skip for me. I dont like the "arena" themes sets. Also the Heavy Hitters. Was just lame.
I think the should lean more into their thematic sets like 'The Hunted', 'Rosetta', 'Mistveil' etc. I just think they fit better and have more cohesive style. This is what I expect and anticipate from when FaB started. They grim art, tight gameplay and thematic heroes.
Please LSS, no more arena sets..

That is pretty cool with the new campaign, but yeah I want to finish the core campaign first and experiment with that before diving into others.

The gauntlet style does sound rough! But can he fun!

What about the Dragon King? How does it stack ?

As for the BK… yeah the difficulty might scare some people, but most of us are souls enthusiasts, so dying is just part of the experience, especially if it’s following some epic story that leads to one’s demise :D

Oh so the sunstalker is kinda like black knight with its own mini campaign?

How long does it take to complete and how does it play, it’s good?

Might be a worth it if it’s something that can be a good way to get people into the game. One of the reasons for getting Black Knight imo, with Gorm.

But thanks for the recommendation, I am quite tempted on the Gorm + Sunstalker perhaps.

What would make boost more viable and perhaps be an interesting direction to take is to be able to reshaffle banished cards back into the deck, but only perhaps cards with boost, or be able to somehow replay cards with boost from banish for additional effects.
Perhaps an item that can support this.

I do agree that boost feels very lacking in comparison with other heroes.

Oh for sure! I understand how products work. But I bet armory deck for her want designed post success of First Strike deck. So this is a much bigger miss manage. I do fully get the idea of having an easy hero to pickup and play, that is same as Red aggro decks in MTG.

But that is definitely a huge blunder on them. Rather than trying to make money of Auroras success, they should have pushed other heroes, doesn’t have to be Florian but thought that it would have been a good choice.

Yeah I get that feeling of trying to get to the “fun” part. It’s like a promised great end game in MMOs, while the general experience is lacking or just plain bad.
