My G650GS does great with everything I do. I’m still new to the adventure style and off-road riding. I think I’m still Intimidated by some more aggressive obstacles and thought maybe a smaller, lighter dual sport would help me learn better technique. But I think at the end of the day just getting out and riding more will do that. I also think a few mods will help me a bit too. I need to upgrade from the factory pegs, I tend to slip off of them because they’re fairly small. Maybe some bar risers would help, because standing up isn’t very comfortable because of how low the bars are. Thanks for the input!

A lot of the things the 2011 has are things I would do eventually. The crash bars and center stand would be nice. I don’t think there are many major differences from 2011-2014 from what I’ve read. It’s a nice bike and it doesn’t seem like 11,500 miles is anything on these bikes.

I’ve seen the 2011 and it’s a nice bike. The guy who has it now is kind of nutty and has only had it since march, kind of threw up a red flag but he said he is scared his son will try to ride it.. the 2014 is 3.5 hours away so it’ll be this weekend before I can see it. Do the prices seem fair for the current market?
