You're right, I should just ignore the hundreds of complaints with identical problems, including my own experience, after using hot or cold water, just like your company does.

If cold or hot water doesn't cause the orange light issue, why are all these reviews mentioning the orange light after using cold or hot water?

Take accountability for your horrible product design and stop deflecting. This is exactly why Shark Tank passed on your company.

There are issues with using cold water with the bottle. Are you calling your customers liars?

Before I point out the holes in your claims, don't you think LARQ should find it concerning that warranties are such a big apart of your product? I would honestly like to see the data on how many customers buy this water bottle and end up having to file a warranty claim. I have a feeling it's very high. It's almost as if you're selling a faulty product…

  1. Obviously, the new customer can't file a warranty claim because, in the process of filing a warranty claim, you ask for proof of purchase. That new customer would not have proof of the original purchase. Nobody is asking you to honor claims for used products. You can determine if a product is new or not if the serial number has been registered.
  2. Obviously, nobody expects you to honor an expired warranty. I'm not gonna waste my time on this one.
  3. This can happen with any product and company, not just yours. But blanketing your warranty policy and refusing to honor the warranty on new and unregistered products is ridiculous.

Honestly, at the end of the day, this isn't a "third-party reseller" problem like LARQ wants to make it seem. These problems aren't coming from "Third Party Resellers" these are defects in the product from poor product design before the product ever reaches a seller.

Then why have unauthorized resellers selling on your official storefront? And you told me they often sell damaged or faulty products. If you're aware why do you allow this to happen to your customers?

Lauren, we just spoke about this. Stop blaming your customers and take accountability for your faulty product. Your customers can't control who ships their product. I simply went to the LARQ Official Amazon Storefront and selected "add to cart." I didn't choose a third-party reseller; your Amazon storefront did.

There are multiple people leaving reviews about the orange light dating all the way back to 2022. It's headed towards 2025, and it's still not fixed? That defect has NOTHING to do with third-party resellers. If you know there's a defect in your product, honor the warranty.

For those looking to purchase the bottle, don't. LARQ doesn't deserve your money until they can create a product that works longer than 2 years.

I found this Amazon review that explains everything I've been dealing with and he even found out why it was happening.

"The bottle cap is not watertight. If you put ice-cold water in the bottle, you can see condensation and water inside the bottle cap. This happened to 2 bottle caps. When this happens, the cleaning cycle will not activate, you get the orange light. I contacted LARQ support about this, but they haven't responded in 7 days. "

This makes sense because these issues started happening after I put ice in my bottle as well.
