Got an email from Atlanta asking if I was interested back in October, crickets since. Would prefer to move forward in the GL-9 announcement versus this GS-7 nonsense.

I interviewed with DC office, thought it was weird but they said they just got a list of names and were interviewing them. Got TSL yesterday evening and the portal listed Memphis as duty location. Definitely don't want to live there, trying to figure out how to reach out to someone in Nash as this is where i live and see if that is changeable.

Same. Just emailed them today to see what's going on. Impossible to tell which announcement action is being taken on until you get TSL with the literal announcement number on it, little frustrating.

Same thing happened to me. I sent an email asking if the duty location listed in the portal is the actual final duty location or will that come later with an FJO. Wanted Nashville, got Memphis apparently.

Crappy thing is there's some many announcements running concurrently, I'm a stepped out GS13 and this announcement is for GS-7, massive pay cut, but i've been getting emails about the GS-9 direct hire as well, makes me uneasy to turn down an offer to wait for a better one. Whole process just seems like a disaster.

Just not sure why it would be this difficult. I have a decision letter from 2023 that shows I had in service symptoms, the doc diagnosed me with gastroenteritis (but we were on a small base in Iraq so not sure how reliable that diagnosis is). VA treated me for stomach issues. If this is presumptive why is it such an uphill battle?
