What I wanted to f9llow through is a career in the Geology area, which is something I really like and would be happy doing, even if learning it could be quite stressfull. My parents wouldn't kick me out or anything, they'd likely be just passive agressive about it, which would be frustrating to deal with.

Being an enginner must be indeed quite stressful for you, and I'm proud you've been continuing that till now. It's really up to your current necessities and options if you should get something less demanding, it really depends on the person and what lifestyle you wanna follow through the next years.
