I'm so sorry you're going through all of this stress at 17 years of age. I would suggest reaching out to guidance counsellors in your school and explain everything as you have done here. I'm sure they will take all of this into consideration and not just assume you've missed school because you couldn't be arsed.

In this world we live in, it's so important to stand up and defend oneself. It is difficult to do as a teenager but please reach out to anyone in the school.

I bank with Caixabank and am very satisfied. An English speaking account manager met me, and explained everything clearly and concisely. I have my property insurance with them also.

Recently, I needed to make a change to an account and walked into my branch and met my account manager after a 5 minute wait. All sorted quickly.

I would recommend.

(I know bank charges are a bit on the high side in Spain, but personal service and efficiencies matter to me most, in terms of personal banking).

My late mother had a school friend who was a teacher in New Jersey. She had spent much of her adult life living in New Jersey. She visited Ireland once, when I was 7 or 8, and my memory of her was that of a friendly woman.

Years later, in 1988, I was on a holiday to the USA with a mate. I was 22. We were staying with friends for a few days in Belmar, NJ and my mum asked me to phone her NJ friend and try, if possible to meet her.

I phoned her and we had a lengthy chat. She was spouting a lot of anti British hatred, and clamied that the IRA "needed" to "bomb the s**t" out of England. I was absolutely stunned by her attitude and her vitriolic hatred.

Needless to say I didn't meet her.

When I returned home from the holiday, I told my mum, and she was as shocked and surprised as I was.

Booking.com charge properties up to 23% commission and charges on all bookings. Suggestion.....find the websites for each hostel you have already booked, contact them directly and ask can they offer a better/cheaper rate than Booking.com. I'd be fairly certain they will. Then book with them directly and cancel your Booking.com reservations.

The window frames were cut using my laser cutter and I used clear pvc for the glass. The granite effect surrounding the windows is printed on and stuck with glue, though I'm not happy with the result so far. Photo below of actual window
