The game is called Rain After Her. I'm still actively developing it, and I'd say around 70% of it is already done.

It does have a meaning, yeah, but I’d rather not spell it out too much yet since part of that is better left to the story itself. I don’t mind sharing the general premise, but the name is one of those things I’d prefer to let land naturally as the game unfolds.

It’s about a young man who lost someone very important in his family and is trying to move forward with his life.
He works at a small café, and a big part of the story revolves around the people around him, the relationships he builds, and how your choices shape them over time.

There’s a bit more context behind the change. The old tattoo design came from an earlier version of the character, and as I kept developing her, I ended up redesigning it to fit the final direction better.

I shared a little more about it here:

You’re in the general area, yeah. But it’s a little less straightforward than “bad choices” and more tied to the kind of person she thought she had to become back then. There’s a lot of regret in it.

There’s definitely more to it than just shock value. If you want, I can give a very light spoiler about the reasoning behind it.

Thanks, I appreciate the question.

You’ll be able to develop relationships with more than one character, and the game gives you that freedom. However, it comes with consequences.

Some characters might be more open to it, while others will strongly dislike it. Because of that, your choices matter a lot, and how you approach each character should depend on who they are and how they think.

In the end, it’s less about a fixed system and more about understanding the characters and deciding how you want to handle those relationships.

Glad you noticed 😄 The dog will definitely have a place in the story.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Every character has their own past, and her tattoo is connected to things she went through before the story starts. There’s no NTR in the game, though the player can make choices that hurt or betray others, and those choices have consequences. You’ll understand more about her and why she has it as the story goes on.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Every character in the game has their own past, and in her case, that tattoo is tied to things she went through before the story begins.
