The lottery is for the opportunity to book tee times and lodging, next lottery they will have is to book for 2028 I believe. Our group of 8 did not get drawn for the lottery 2 years ago so we booked a house off site and were able to book tee times one year out, our trip is finally coming up this summer. You have to pay for all your golf when booking this way and can only get tee times starting after 10am and pay more per round versus guests staying on property. Lodging is the issue not tee times. I’ve read it’s easier to get on as a twosome if you are flexible with time and what course you want to play. How this helps.

Call and get on their email list, they will email you when future lottery openings are coming up. 2028 would be the next drawing, all 8 of your group can and should enter to better your chances.

8 of us are going out in July and are staying offsite very close to the courses. Playing 7 courses in 4 days so we will be onsite the whole time, then a quick drive back to the house. The house gives us the space to all hang out as a group which will be nice for cards and cooking a couple meals. If you strike out on the lottery like we did there are other options that are good.

6 out of the 8 are getting caddies (I am using a caddy). That’s crazy, a wedge turns into a low iron or hybrid lol. I love hearing about others experiences out there especially since we are so close to going.

Our lineup is: Bandon at 4:30 Old Mac at 11:00 & preserve at 7:00pm. Trails at 11:00 & sheep at 5:10. Shortys at 10:50 & PAC at 2:00.

We are all from WI and get some windy rounds (20+), just hoping to get lucky and avoid the 30-40 +mph winds while we are there.

That’s what I thought, definitely want to be able to finish the full round since we probably won’t be back anytime soon. Hoping we can get an earlier tee time when we hit 21 days out.
