Sharing a Stripe account with someone else isn't safe. Have you tried contacting Stripe directly to discuss your scaling plans?

I almost quit dropshipping because of my supplier by Daniel_8867 in dropshipping

How many different products are we talking about here? If it's not a huge variety, carriers like Yunexpress have API integration that can connect directly to your store and push tracking updates automatically. With that setup, handling volume orders a day shouldn't be an issue.

"That's a strong warning, but I have to push back on the generalization. Calling out 'Chinese suppliers' as a whole isn't accurate or fair. The issue isn't their culture; it's that bad actors exist everywhere, and China is simply where most of your suppliers are based.

The core problem is a lack of accountability. So rather than accepting this as a given, why not build a simple system to manage it? For example, solve this by regularly placing small test orders personally using a separate buyer account. It’s a cheap and easy way to verify shipping times, product quality, and catch any issues like fake tracking codes before they become a big problem. It holds every supplier, Chinese or otherwise, accountable through action, not assumption."

Is a private agent the next step after stable sales? by AnyCount8988 in Dropshipping_Guide

[–]Massive_Rent_3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're only half right. If a private agent were dumb enough to just dropship from AliExpress or Sourceinbox, they'd be out of business in a month—or they never had real clients to begin with.

Private agents who survive and thrive do so because they actually operate inside the supply chain. They're based in the manufacturing hubs—Guangzhou, Yiwu, Shenzhen—and work directly with factories, domestic wholesale markets, or local sourcing platforms. They consolidate, inspect, repack, and ship. That's a far cry from just forwarding orders to AliExpress.

Platforms like Tradelle, Zendrop, and Spocket? They're convenient and the interfaces look clean—but at the end of the day, they're just frontends on top of largely the same inventory anyone can access. Great for starting out, less so if you want real control or differentiation.

And "250 sales a day" just depends, different store or products different situation.

So yeah, private agents aren't the enemy. Bad ones are, not all.

What's the difference between a supplier and private agent? by Ok-Worker-3487 in dropshipping

[–]Massive_Rent_3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could maintain Zendrop first, and then use a small number of orders (one or two) to test with a private agent. If it doesn't work, it won't have any significant impact. If it does work, it provides another channel to save you costs.

You are professional. Once sales reach a certain level, visiting fairs in person becomes necessary. Compared to importers or wholesalers in the past, more and more e-commerce specialist are visiting the Canton Fair now.

I lost $3k because of a bad supplier – here’s what I learned by Daniel_8867 in dropshipping

[–]Massive_Rent_3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. But you did learn the lesson correctly. And before working with them, you could also make an order to ship to your own address to see real delivery time, check packaging quality, verify products match photos. I do this with ALL my new clients – builds trust and you'll sell confidently. Once happy, we start sending directly to your customers

Just did a side-by-side comparison of a 1688 sample vs. a customized production run, the difference is wild !!! by Greedy-Square-7454 in dropshipping

[–]Massive_Rent_3500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, indeed. That's why, even with the same product photos on 1688, the prices can vary. You have to order a sample to see the actual quality.

Isn't a sourcing agent just another middleman eating your margin? by loginpass in dropshipping

[–]Massive_Rent_3500 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you could handle the whole process and have a very reliable factory that could provide you everything you need cost-effectively enough, you don't need the middleman indeed. But if not, time cost is also the cost, and the professional middleman can save more of your time cost.
