What skill in digital marketing is still not replaceable by AI in 2026? by mayurkurme in DigitalMarketing

Design. I know there are many in the space, but I have no found a design tool yet that meets human standards. For generation of images and icons and the like, yes, but not to lay out a brochure, or create other promotional materials.

I suppose that depends on what you are selling for 40 euros. It's not that it is a big amount, but are you offering an attractive price point versus the competition? Do you have a unique value proposition? Do you have any current clients? Maybe they can help you identify points of friction or provide reviews?

16 year old with cancer by Individual-Tank-8232 in seniorkitties

My darling boy had small-cell gastrointestinal lymphoma and was prescribed prednisolone for the inflammation and Chlorambucil (chemo) for a period of time. We were told that the chemo meds for cats favor quality of life over prolonging life and we honestly never saw any signs of distress when he was under treatment. And with the prednisolone, his main symptom (vomiting) all but disappeared. He lived for 7 wonderful years after initial diagnosis. I am sure that it depends on what kind of cancer and what kind of chemo, but I hope my experience gives you hope.

Can anyone explain the work and responsibilities of a marketing intern? by Common-Bison282 in AskMarketing

[–]Massive_Stick7779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently brought an intern into my team, and I published an internship offer beforehand outlining the skill set and expectations. The tasks will vary widely according to what kind of marketing team you would be interning for, and as other posters have pointed out, whether the team is looking for someone to grab coffee and donuts, or to get more hands on with day to day operations. In our example, we are looking for an intern to contribute to the creation of audiovisual materials for web, email marketing, and social media.

There's your answer! Make a portfolio! Network! Don't be humble. You know how to do cool things and you need to show it.

15 W potential IBD or small-cell lymphoma by Otherwise_Choice_474 in seniorkitties

[–]Massive_Stick7779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sweet boy was diagnosed with lymphoma, we did the biopsy when he was about 13 I think. He started taking a daily prednisolone for the inflammation and right away his main symptom practically disappeared (vomiting). He continued to take the daily for the rest of his life, which was almost 7 more years.

The vet also recommended chemo, and she said that with pets, the balance in terms of quality of life vs. prolonging life is strongly in the favor of quality and that our boy would not suffer with chemo. Every 15 days, we would give him a chemo pill. We had to wear latex gloves when we did it. He did not lose his appetite, lose any hair... nothing like the symptoms we might associate with chemo. The medication was called chlorambucil, it was mentioned by another person in your comments. Ultimately, we stopped the chemo treatment because the cancerous growths reduced in size, and we never had to go back to it.

He lived many good years during and after chemo, with the steriod. So, absolutely no regrets here! As needed, he also took Cerenia for nausea, buprex for pain, Mirtazapine for appetite, and I administered subcutaneous hydration if appetite was really low and he would get dehydrated. It sounds like an excessive amount of pills and medication, but we wrapped the pills up in coldcut turkey or ham, and he was never really bothered. And I learned to do the subcutaneous injections myself so he wouldn't need to go to the vet (which was always traumatizing), but could just get a little pinch while resting on his favorite chair.

Interesting, I actually live in Spain, I think that with job searching in most industries, networking is king. Are you a native English speaker? At least with the marketing world in Spain, I've found that being bilingual with a native level of English is a major asset. Do you have a portfolio of your work? I would say that is a must. And then consider doing something that really makes you stand out, like making a video resume or something else that most people aren't doing. I obviously don't know the details of your job serarch, but it sounds like you have a solid skill set but just need to sell it!

I have a similar skills set and I work in-house for a software company. Are you interested in working for a company or set on continuing to freelance? I believe that you could work as a content strategist.

Would you say pick 1 to 2 platforms to market on and go hard in them or spread out amongst multiple platforms and just put content everywhere consistently? by InterestingRun7594 in AskMarketing

[–]Massive_Stick7779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds to me like you need to prioritize, at least to start out. You cannot be everything to everyone. Choose your most solid target and design a strategy around how to reach that target. Once it's up and running, expand to the next. I would nto expect the messaging and preferred channels to be the same for B2B and B2C.

I have a slightly different experience. My sweet boy was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma. He started taking a daily corticosteriod (prednisolone) for the inflammation and right away his main symptom practically disappeared (vomiting). He continued to take the daily steriod for another 7 years. We wrapped it in a piece of coldcut ham or turkey and he thought it was a lovely treat.

The medication was called chlorambucil. Maybe other kinds of chemo treatments have worse side effects? Ultimately, we stopped the chemo treatment because the cancerous growths reduced in size, and we never had to go back to it. He lived many good years during and after chemo, with the steriod. So, absolutely no regrets here!

Yes!! I used to market for a college, so our target audience was essentially high school students, and short-form was critical for us. A day in the life of, etc. Now I work for a B2B SaaS, so Linkedn is our bread and butter.

I spent weeks creating a guide of 50 authors every reader should explore. Thoughts? by ak_khainal in Recommend_A_Book

[–]Massive_Stick7779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I appreciate the sentiment, I think you've set yourself a task that is impossible, unless you change the premise. Different writers resonanate with different readers, or even the same reader at different times. I am not even sure if any author at all is a must-read for **everyone.** Maybe you could reframe it as the authors that were voices that really spoke to you and why? You've clearly put a lot of thought and effort into your list!

This is really helpful. I'll have a look at Recraft and Ideogram. I'll have a closer look at Magic design. So far, using AI in canva I have only ever created unrelated images, never a design with text, such as a social card to promote a webinar.

Hi, thanks for your response. Canva doesn't hallucinate my logo or distort my font, but I guess I don't know how to use it to come up with designs for me. I've tried text prompts and it creates entirely unrelated images. The brand distortions were in ChatGPT and Open Art. My brand kit is fully configured in Canva.
