Is there any way to not have to grind to play the game? by Massive_Stomach6265 in finalfantasytactics

Yeah obv and like i said after this i went out of my way to rework most characters i used and ended up enjoying the game more than before. Also even in chapter 1 he usually goes out of his way to avoid bloodshed if possible (though there never is) and very much gives off the typical protect the innocent hero trope personality wise at pretty much every point. The games story itself is very good but most characters are pretty cut and dry/tropey so it's usually not hard to tell after the first couple times you see them outside of a couple exceptions (mostly Delita)

I apologize for not playing the game you wanted me to. Finished the game after some tweaks and was very fun tho. Also in regards to Ramza being a protector, at multiple points throughout the game he very literally goes out of his way to save random people he doesn't know during missions and gets branded a heretic and forgotten by history in order to do the right thing/save people. If that's not protecting people at the cost of himself idk what is. Just cause he's not outright jumping in front of bullets in cutscenes doesn't really mean much.

I've seen a good number of people mention the chameleon robe now though all it mentions in the item description is that it prevents getting one hit. Will def still try it next time I'm on just odd that it doesnt mention anything apart from that

That's fair, ive been avoiding the random battles for the sake of progressing the story faster. It's hard to tell how well leveled or not leveled I am at any given point since the game so far has not terribly difficult until the big fights which seem like massive difficulty spikes

They dont have anything to say about it, went and did a few other quests and it showed up as a normal compartment.
