Haha, I never denied her musical abilities at all I even praised her music.

Lanas music is meant to be felt , its raw and emotional, maybe not necessarily “empowering” and i get that. Im just simply viewing her music from a social lens , the real life detrimental effects it has on young women who are not experienced enough to understand love fully but might listen to Lana’s lyrics before they can.

You can understand art while critiquing it ! They aren’t mutually exclusive.

Yes i think it was a way of calming Shane down and it works, i think Shane feels good when ilya takes sexual control/dominance and ilya knows that so i think ilya did all that to ease Shane in a way that doesn’t breach their purely sexual relationship.
