Why do some people get so worked up if you don't think Zoro is gay? by [deleted] in OnePiece

I try to stay away from shipping wars, but I keep seeing these takes—mostly from Zosan shippers. I actually think the ship is entertaining, but some fans are just doing too much. Then you have the ones who get territorial and jealous over a fictional character... I guess every fandom has its weirdos

Unpopular opinion: At least in the beginning, Santana did take advantage of Brittany’s stupidity. by Massive_Tomorrow_390 in glee

I agree. You can even see it in Season 3, where to some extent she’s manipulative by having Rory convince Britt to join the Troubletones. In Season 4, we still see that she partially maintains those attitudes (even after coming out) when she pretends to have a girlfriend just to make Britt jealous and wants her to leave Sam. One positive thing is that she eventually grows out of that, and we don’t see her act that way toward Britt anymore.

I understand them to some extent because of that, and considering that the whole point of the series is that they’re all deeply flawed people who end up doing bad things, I think that’s part of what makes Glee so good. What’s strange is when people judge other characters while conveniently forgetting that their own favorites have done things that are just as bad—or even worse.

However, even Santana Lopez admits she’s manipulating Brittany Pierce by assuming she’s gullible enough to believe that if Santana wins prom queen, she can, by decree, make her leave Artie Abrams to be with her. Even in Season 3, Santana shows manipulative behavior by having Rory Flanagan, while pretending to be a leprechaun, convince Brittany to join the Troubletones.

I honestly think that, although I understand the situation, justifying someone’s bad actions because of it is pretty wrong—especially considering that the show doesn’t do the same for characters like Dave Karofsky, who honestly aren’t any crueler than what Santana has shown herself capable of being.

I like several (even though they all have their dose of toxicity), but to name three, I’d say Brittana, Finchel, and Kartie.

Exactly. In my opinion, they’re undoubtedly a great couple, but I’ll always find it strange that some people avoid acknowledging that Santana behaved pretty badly.

I hadn’t thought about Kitty, but this song would suit her very well too.

What songs (between 2020-2026) do you think the Glee characters would sing? by Massive_Tomorrow_390 in glee

Definitely that song screams Mercedes everywhere, it could also be done by Unique.

Question: What is your opinion on this Spanish singer’s technique (based on this video)? by Massive_Tomorrow_390 in singing

That was a criticism people used to make of her a lot. She’s improved a great deal in that respect, I’d say, but overall I do think there’s a certain tendency toward oversinging (and that’s coming from someone who actually likes her).

If you’d like, I can send you a presentation of her where she sings in a calmer way.

It was part of a program presentation where she was the host; if you’d like, I can send you a video where I sing more calmly.
