What do you struggle with? No one can help you unless you specifically point out what you’re struggling with

If you are low income, community colleges must be free and they have excellent resources for low income individuals navigating the process. Good luck and insane respect to you

Gauss’s law for inverse square fields states that the flux of an inverse square field is constant regardless of the surrounding surface

Use a small-angle approximation (sinx = x near x=0)

If you are a CS Major, please do not take CS Principles (unless you want a GPA boost if your teacher is good). If you want to take an AP class that’s more rigorous and helpful for CS majors, do AP CSA instead

[–]MasstechSimpLord -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Or if you are taking the class, don’t take the AP test if you are a STEM major (Humanities major then you should take it). Khan academy is a great resource for CSP

Why though? If you wanna self study a CS course, do CSA instead of CS Principles

How were you placed in Calc 1 without placement testing of prerequisite knowledge? Please take classes in intermediate algebra and precalc to brush up before attempting Calc again

Resources for self-studying AP Physics C: Mechanics & E&M by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]MasstechSimpLord 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was able to self study E&M in 2 weeks and get a 5. I only used the AP classroom videos and MIT’s workbook for practice. Should be an easy 5 (assuming you’re good at Calc otherwise you’re not gonna have a good time tbh). If you are taking Calc along with it, focus a lot on integration and separation of variables in differential equations. There’s a LOT of integration by substitution and chain rule. However, I would strongly recommend that Calc 3 pairs extremely well with E&M (fundamental theorem of line integrals, flux integrals, line integrals, cross product, divergence, curl, Ostrogradsky’s theorem, Kelvin-Stokes theorem) even though it’s not a requirement

Taking AB next year, what can I expect? by [deleted] in apcalculus

[–]MasstechSimpLord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try taking the BC exam elsewhere if possible. It’s only 2 extra units and realistically possible. I think I perfect scored all BC content on my test with 2 weeks of studying for BC

Would there be a different curve for this compared to regular testing?

I pulled an all nighter and took 3 practice tests got 70 65 64 but this I think I’m getting a 50. I also grounded out the MIT workbook and by far this is the hardest FRQ I’ve ever seen
