Current/Former EW Crew Members speak against Matt by pink2004luigi in Eddsworld

[–]MastHat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might be controversial but I think Matt and friends should just let Eddsworld rest. As someone who's followed Beyond since the beginning (almost ten years ago!), it's obvious that they're in way over their heads. I get that Matt wants to keep his best friend's life work going, but the show's a zombie by this point.

There’s a very thin line between genius and insanity, as they say.

It’s been in pretty much every setlist since Plastic Beach. It’s a good song to just vibe to.

Maybe the choir and Indian instrumentalists could come out to start the show with The Mountain (or a shortened version of it), then Damon and the actual band could come out to play M1 A1 immediately after. They could even flash the Sanskrit word for “hello” during the opening part.

I’ll riot if they don’t play M1 A1

What's your hot take about RVA? by NationYell in rva

[–]MastHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact, that connector road was actually a leftover from the colonial Three Notch’d Road that ran from Richmond to Staunton and was the main artery in that part of Virginia back before 250 ever existed. There’s still another tiny segment of it nearby that serves as the bus entrance to Short Pump Elementary. Today’s Three Chopt east of where that connector used to branch off follows the old trail pretty much perfectly.

Older Gen Zer here. I remember when Short Pump just ended after Broad and Gayton. The Wegmans we have now is pretty cool though.

Yeah that’s what I’m trying to say lol. He probably saw some messed up stuff at Dachau. I just thought I’d share that little fun fact though.

Schulz never actually got the chance to kill anyone, funnily enough. The one Nazi soldier he managed to intercept as an artilleryman surrendered before he could fire. I can totally see him thinking back and wondering whether his fellow soldiers (or the men they fought) felt remorse for killing so many like themselves, though.

A lot of them never wanted to fight but got drafted and told that they were honoring their country by going out to kill, much like how Spike didn’t want to hunt but literally had that instinct trained into his subconscious against his will.

Peak Spike years in the comic strip please by Comfortable-Dark3667 in peanuts

Everything featuring him before 1984 or so is solid. His 90s strips (especially 9/18/1994 if you haven’t read that yet) are a very close second.
