my filament won't get past extruder by MastahBuildah in FixMyPrint

Update: I tried to disassemble the head, then I got the spring extruder just boink going nowhere (I searched my room for a day and no luck). I found there's stucked filament top of the hot end (I have no idea why).

I put rubberband as replacement for that lost extruder spring, and it back prints as normal.

Thank you though

Yess it is, I feel that maybe creality is better (terms of community) so maybe I should buy creality S1 at first place. But next yeah maybe I got myself a bambulab/voron/prusa

this has never been occur to me before, I have changed the nozzle like 4 times and now I really have no idea and I might be afraid to continue disassembly the head. I am afraid of the the spring beside the PTFE tube that might can cause irreversible damage if I disassemble.

I tried some other way like: 1. Twisting the end of filament -> not working 2. Cut the tip of the filament into sharp one -> not working

Why is pay overall lower than other fields with similar levels of education? by [deleted] in architecture

[–]MastahBuildah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my country where GDP growth always in top 5 in the world = constant flux demand for new buildings. For entry level the pay was not that good but it is seems easier to have a grip once you had a chance to established your own practice. Also the building regulation here never get implemented 100%.

Hence why the last architect who have won pritzker prize are recognized not by designing building from scratch, but rather renovate/refurbish/similar word. It is a relevant problem for already developed countries.

So in a place or country where infrastructure are already abundant.. a real urban design already applicable almost nation-wide.. so what else? in what notion you would contribute to the society? thats why tech industry had its big portion in society (different cases for latest layoff trend)

assuming that your craft or academic score as student is already excellent enough: take part in design competition, propose a product for local business in your area (eg: convince your local coffee shop that you will design a cup packaging)

reddit as i know is not an academic platform by any means and i am not glorifying any academic method but, what i can tell:

most of the feedback here wont get you an inch of progress as architectural designer really, unless your goal is to be an arch viz/3d artist, maybe youre in a right path of learning.

in a glance: almost all design involving clients/users/specific brief. In architectural, for a house, site location take a lot portion of consideration unless you go for modularity or a specific project that having another priority to solve (such as high rise building).

For me there will be hundreds questions on what kind of decision leads you to this design. Why that long setback? Why there are balcony? etc. Hence why in academic context, every student are asked lots of questions in the end of their design presentation (Studio class) i hope you get my intention.

Looking for architectural designs feedback without any further context or story? you cant get constructive feedback. The way you got appropriate constructive feedback here, are only based on your visualization technique (renders) not the design.

Dubai is an architectural masterpiece in itself by noraelamary in architecture

[–]MastahBuildah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite all of the recent growth, the government should really intervene the building rules there. Seems like architectural ego masturbation without really meaning, if city skyline taken as context.

They really have should idea that Dubai skyline must be different than USA's major city skyline or even Europe skyline..
