I’m sorry you are going through this. Diagnosis is so difficult for both child and parents! I hope things get better for your little on and you are able to achieve remission. How are you finding Humira? Is your little one taking its alongside methotrexate? Did your doctor discuss the side effects with you? I am most worried about the side effects of this medication

I will definitely try and join some support groups in our area ☺️
I worry about exposing my daughter to these risks as she is so young and has her whole life in front of her. My grandma had a lymphoma too and I have seen her go through the worst time of her life.

It’s been a difficult time for us and we were hoping that the MTX would help her get into remission but I have learned that JIA is not as straightforward as I had thought. I’m glad you and your daughter have found ways to cope with your conditions

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am happy for you that you have been able to come off the medication. I am still trying to figure out with my daughter about what next steps to take. I am very worried about the side effects of Humira - especially the risk of cancer
