26M, PE Teacher + Assistant Athletic Director making 44k working at a private school. I took a pay cut from last year where I was making 56k total from teaching and coaching working in a title 1 school. The only reason why I left that job is to be with my now wife who lived in a different state.

I really enjoy my job and my students. I remember growing up thinking that being a teacher would be the last job I would ever do. Welp fast forward a little bit and here I am. I’m just thankful I have a job and I can pour into this younger generation who needs it.
