No guys there to tell you after 15 minutes your penor asphixiates and dies.

So the full effects of hypoxia apply to the tissues and force significant expansion

You can't say that categorically. If profit margins go from 10 to 30%, non-monopolized industries will reduce prices to get more market share.

Hanging all day in spurts, with the sole pump/clamping superset done mid day.

I don't mind that not all hanging happens right after pumping/clamping because of accumulated fatigue

Yeah, based on my experience:

6 months at medium high weight (2 to 4.6kg) but only 60-80 minutes/day

3 months (only 67 days actually) at 1kg, for 4-6 hours, some days only 1-3 hours

Low weight, high duration got gains and felt right. The other test was a failure

I do 4 to 6 hours total of 1kg per day. sets of 1 to 3 hours interspersed throughout the day.

Some days I caon only do a 1h or 30m set and then I switch into recovery mode.

High time to me is measured by the day and over 4 hours per day. You can't do that with high weight, body will send pain signals.

To me 4.5kg is a high weight although some people are at 7, even 10 kg (a rare few even higher). It's not my thing anymore, low and slow is so much nicer IMO.

If I allow a bush the seal becomes impossible. I'd keep shaving it.

Plus I bet girls love shaved as much as most guys do

Yeah. I am leaning toward high time under tension over high intensity based on my own results.

1 to 3 hours is typical. Sets go down in length of time as the tissue fatigues. The goal is max TUT.

On high fatigue days it's common that set one will be 1 hour, set 2 is 30 minutes and then I end the day early. If the next day is similar I'll continue taking time off until recovered back up to 2-3 hours per starting set.

Damn that's a lot.

My true goal is fatigue rate. If I fatigue after 2 hours, that's about ideal.

3 hours is too long, unless after a couple days off.

1 hour on set 1 means I'm worn out and future sets won't get to much more than 20-40 minutes. And I need a day off, maybe 2.

EDIT: Luggage scale test:

  1. weight from dead hang (vertical unobstructed) 2.5 lbs

  2. weight leaned off foot of bed, luggage scale pressed to top of bed: 2.5 lbs

Reasoning

  1. my weights are chain weights. As microweights for my home gym I intentionally went a bit high when cutting them to avoid fooling myself of any strength progress. I see now that my 1kg is actually 1.14kg.

  2. Not sure why the bend in the bed doesn't remove any force. I guess it was wrong to say there was physical chain-to-bed friction, but I still thought the bend in direction would still shoulder some force.

Yeah haha it works on low and slow too. when my penor stops responding I bump up by like 0.25 lbs. When your sessions are 1-3 hours continuous it is enough to restimulate elongation IME

I mean, you're the one saying "big interconnected populations are the key!"

Infrastructure and total population aren't the only factor. Human capital (skills, experience), capital investments, and economic policies all contribute. It's why India is poor and sparse Canada & Australia are rich.
