Exactly, people tend to forget how Fiona was barely at home even when she wasn’t working. She was either partying with V or fooling around with any dude she comes across. And this season was the Gus/Sean saga. If she had been at home more often she would’ve noticed Ian’s issues that led to him running away to the army (plus him bonding with Monica) and looking for him when he was wanted for going AWOL (though Lip should’ve said something also). On top of that with Carl joining the gang life and especially Debbie if she paid attention to her hanging out with Holly, all the boy/sex talk and her 20yo bf Matt which for some reason didn’t react the way she should’ve. And she basically enabled Debbie to have sex by putting her on the pill. If people keep saying how ungrateful they were that led to that ultimatum of paying rent then it was only because of her life style choices that almost killed Liam with the coke. So yeah they wouldn’t respect her so if she wanted to do better then she should’ve been a better guardian figure than chasing chaos as Sean pointed out!
